BTC Direct holds a license under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) and is therefore subject to ongoing supervision by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).
The license number of BTC Direct is 41000009.
The AFM ensures that our services are fair, transparent, and in the best interests of our clients. It also supervises compliance with the **Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Act (Wwft)** and the **Sanctions Act**. Our services fully comply with the stringent European standards.

Once you indicate the amount you wish to buy or sell, our compliance team conducts a careful and discreet review. Based on this review, we determine in advance how much you can buy or sell. This gives you full clarity and ensures the trading process runs smoothly and without delays.
If your bank decides to hold a transaction for review, we can immediately provide the complete compliance file. Because all checks are carried out in advance, approval usually follows without any issues.
