BTC Direct holds a license under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) and is therefore subject to ongoing supervision by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). In this context, we are required to ask you a few questions in order to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Act (Wwft).
After completing the questionnaire, you will be asked to upload documents that demonstrate the origin of your funds. The specific types of documents required will be clearly indicated.
Once you have uploaded the documents, our compliance team will review them. If the documents meet the requirements, they will be approved. If not, our compliance team will contact you to request additional information.
While your documents are being reviewed, you will receive a disclaimer outlining the rules and conditions for Private Trading at BTC Direct. Please read this carefully and provide your digital signature to confirm your understanding.
Once your documents have been approved, your personal account manager will get in touch with you. During this call, we will:

Explain how the trading process works.
Answer any questions you may have.
From this point on, you will have one dedicated point of contact for all your transactions.
